The Mechanik

For some reason I really, really enjoy drawing this guy. I just wrapped up drawing my last pic of him for Stability Theory One (Which happens to be the cover)
As the issue goes on I find he gets Sleezyer looking with each panel.

Project Bushido

I got through inking a page of Stability Theory last night quite quickly so I decided to take out the sketchbook and start working on some designs for a future project.
As of late I've been intrigued by artists such as Brandon Peterson who have been doing a very good job of using 3D elements in their work. What with my old job being a 3D artist I definiately feel its worth giving this technique a shot
For example, In Ultimate Vision, the Galactus robots are all modelled in 3D and exported straight to Brandons drawing board. Whilst it does take a lot of time to model things up, it really does allow you to add an infinite amount of detail to an object.
Heres an early design I did last night for Project Bushido, something I am considering modelling up in Max.

New Years Resolutions

Whatever New years Resolution I made to myself, I damn well better remember because I am burning out pages at the moment. Even the fricken shiny new Wii isn't enough to tempt me away from the drawing board at the moment. I've already drawn more in ten days than I did over all of December. Its a place that I've always wanted to be and it feels good to be there.
Heres a panel from page six of Stability Theory I drew last month.

Sleepwalker

Did these pages last October. Should be printed in Futurequake in the UK soon enough. It was written by Kieran Murphy. Am looking forward to seeing it in Print.
One of these pages was inked by Dec actually when we were inking away watching some shite telly. If your familiar with his work you'll notice that his page is the one with the slightly rubbery faces!!!!
Joking aside, Iv just seen some of the pages he's done for the third issue of the new volume of Freakshow from Atomic Diner and they blew me away.
Anyways, Christmas is over and Iv enough drink in my system to last for a few months so its back to serious work today
