MacGyver

The news broke last night. I'm joining the creative team of Tony Lee, Ciaran Lucas and original creator Lee David Zlotoff on Image comics relaunch of MacGyver.
Becky Cloonan is on board for covers too.

This is going to be a blast to draw. MacGyver was huuuuge in Ireland, all of my buddies watched it when it was on here.

2012 is going to be a bumper year for me. As for Cú Chulainn, well the great news on that front is that I'm well ahead of schedule on that. Expect a big announcement on that in the New Year, as well as a Stephen Mooney inspired website to be set up to chronicle its development.

And then of course there is PIGS..  You maaay just hear a lot about this when issue 6 hits the stands.

Eighty Awesome Eighties Action Heroes #28 Gizmo

Heres a christmas story for you. Gremlins was on one Christmas day, it reveals that Santa Claus isn't real. I knew the part was coming up, so I dived infront of the TV, started screaming to drown out this little reveal so my little brother and sister wouldn't hear it. They hated me all christmas day for ruining the movie. Ahh the sacrifices an older brother must make.

Superman Batman Years

My favourite christmas tradition.

Every year, Declan and I draw up a Superman/Batman piece. Weve been doing it long before we were pros and it always makes me realise how lucky I am to be doing the job that I do.
This years piece will go online tomorrow. You can check out Decs piece on the Micks blog already.

PIGS

If you follow @NateCosBOOM 's twitter you may have seen over the weekend that it was announced that I came in to do some interiors for PIGS issue 4.
Was delighted to work with both Nate and Ben. Its a cracking issue having read the script, and its an oversized one.
One of Image comics best at the moment. I would advise picking it up

Cú Chulainn Whiskey

The kind folks at The Cú Chulainn Irish Whiskey company sent me on a litre of their brand new whisky, "Cú Chulainn" which will be launching in New York later this month.
I think I am going to reward myself with a glass or two after completing each chapter.

Kill Shakespeare

Did you listen to yesterdays announcements over at the Comiccast??
http://thecomiccast.com/2011/09/01/will-sliney-update-interview-part-1/

If not then head on over to hear about my first IDW project which is a story for the excellent Kill Shakespeare. This was a lot of fun specifically because I got to work on a book that is full of great Andy Belanger art. Aswell as a great short story by Jason Bone, both of whom put up with me when I lived in there city of Toronto.

The story is written by Tom Waltz who also wrote Stephen Mooney's A-Team book.

Go pick up the first trade, its a great book. Props to Conor and Anthony for setting up the whole thing themselves
