Eighty Awesome Eighties Action Heroes #1 T-800 Terminator

Easily one of the biggest profile actors of the eighties. The T-800 for me is Arnies ultimate role. The scene in T2 where Sarah Connor first sees him is one of my all time favourite movie moments (I often have to replay the scene as soon as it happens on a rewatch.)
Unfortunately there will be no T2 drawn in this collection as it's 1991. (In my first list I had Sarah Connor and the T-1000 in there after forgetting this fact).
Maybe a lot of people will disagree with me here but I like all four of the movies. The first two are fantastic thrillers, with a real feeling that your never going to escape from the villian. The Third one unfortuneatly lacked that dread but has the best ending (Something I did not see coming at all) and the 4th is a great action movie with another standout fantastic scene which I wont spoil here.

Eighty Awesome Eighties Action Heroes

I've decided to create a new theme for blog postings. Ive come up with the idea to draw 80 movie characters from the 80's. I think it will be fun.
The criteria is that the character has to be from an 80's movie. I'm going to start off this week with the T-800 from Terminator 2.
For certain characters, like say Han Solo, I would have to do a version of him from Empire Strikes back or Return of the Jedi, as A New Hope was released in 79

Gambit and Rogue

Done for a friend. Starting to mess around with the Manga Studio materials a bit more now. I saw Nick Runge's awesome piece where he used an effect similar to this (traditionally done mind you) so I wanted to try and achieve something close to it.
By the way Im going to be posting here a lot more. I was surprised with the amount of hits I've been getting lately so I better get my act together and post more
